TGIF

I cannot believe that a whole week has already gone by since my last post. Its been a pretty crazy week so I'm really pumped for the weekend.

So I came barging into the office on Tuesday with stories from the Body Worlds exhibit. If you ever have the opportunity to go, you definitely should! I wasn't really sure how I would react to seeing real human bodies cut up and on display, but I was too busy taking it all in to even realize how gross it is. Plus I got to hold a real human brain!! I know, I know... Most people I tell are grossed out about that beyond belief, but really, how many opportunities does the average person get to do that?? It was amazing!

I had my first paper due on Wednesday, which was a definite reality check. I've been having a hard time readjusting to having actual schoolwork to do, so hopefully this will kick my overachieving drive into gear. My Sensation & Perception class is pretty intense, so I really need to make sure I really put the extra effort into that class.

I had my first Bio lab ever yesterday, which was quite the experience. I worked with my fellow Ambassador Nicole - and I think every thing that could have possibly gone wrong did. Our solution didn't come out right, and we didn't get the right results even when we used some other group's solution. Not only that, but we were also the last people to leave. By about a forty minutes. Luckily our professor is super patient so he went through everything with us whenever we needed help so that was great. Thats one of the things I love about Suffolk - I've never met a professor that refused or ever hesistated to help a student as much as they possibly could. He was totally our savior yesterday; I swear the professor already knows our names just because we were the group that kept messing up. This should be an interesting semester...

This weekend will be pretty laid back, which is just what I need. I'm going to see 27 Dresses tonight with Becka - a fellow Admissions employee - so I'm pretty excited for that. I love Katherine Heigl, so I'm sure it'll be a good movie. After tonight, though, I guess I'll be buckling down and curling up with my textbooks all weekend.. Pretty awesome!
